Join us for our 2019 All-Breed Open Horse Shows! The Board of Directors has approved this year's Show Rules, Show Bill, Entry Forms, and Awards Program. All shows will be double-judged for 2019. You may download them from the links below.
Please download a copy of the rules and read them before coming to the first show. To participate in the Daily High Point awards, the sponsorship requirement must be met at each first show. The Board of Directors is committed to increasing our professionalism and improving our daily and year-end awards program. We want to have the BEST OPEN SHOWS in southeast Texas, and we welcome your suggestions! Come show with us!
Here are the show dates for 2019:
Rain Date: October 5
Start time for all shows: 8:00 a.m.
Halter registration will close at 7:15 a.m. so we can start the show on time.
Please be sure to mail, email, or text photos of your entry form, a copy of your horse's current Coggins report, the GHQHA Liability Release, the Montgomery County Liability Release, and your payment if you wish so that they are received by our Show Secretary, Ms. Billie Jones, by 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday before the show. If you do not mail your payment with your entry form, please have your check ready when you pick up your number.
We need help at the shows! If you can help us out for a few hours at any show, please let us know. We need help at the gate, with trail class set-up, in the show office, ring stewards, etc., please call Chris Agan at 832-444-7489 or any Board member if you can help in any way. Thank you so much!
